Topless Beach 'review'

Forbes published Top Topless Beaches 2005 review, so I figured I'd put up a little compilation of my own. Sexy, laid-back beach style came to the western culture from Saint-Tropez on France's Cote d'Azur, popularized and made chic by the likes of Brigitte Bardot and Ursula Andress. Of course, the French were not the first people to frolic on the beach in a state of semi-undress - the Polynesians after all have been doing it for millennia, honoring this fact it's even considered to be OK in stick-up-the-ass United States to publish pictures of topless aboriginal women in magazines considered to be 'family', like Life or National Geographic, despite of that nothing seems to be scarier for 'values' advocates than human female breasts.

Well, let's not get carried away here - should we mention South of France topless beauties (softb.com) - here is little something:



According to the popular belief, most of the European beaches are top-free nowadays, i.e. it's acceptable for women to sunbath topless if they choose to, quite contrary to the situation in the US. This is what we're missing:

Of course people in the US still enjoy looking at bikini beach pics, even though it's nothing forbidden and can be seen on every beach, which to some extent justifies europeans collecting topless pics.

Since I posted Topless beach some time ago, I figured I might as well go ahead and post some topless beach pics of my all time favorite model Cindy Crawford. To keep up with the theme I only include real life pics, even though I'm not a big fan of paparazzi shots, first of all because of poor picture quality, and because, quite honestly, I'm somewhat opposed by the whole concept itself.

Severina Vuckovic: home video gone public

32-year-old Croatian top pop singer Severina Vučković (Северина Вучковић) suddenly achieved international fame last summer, when 11-minute homemade tape, featuring Seve and unindentified dark-haired man enjoying lusty sex romp, surfaced on the Internet. Vuckovic later admitted that the video was stolen from her private collection.

What makes this story ironic, is that Gospođica Vučković had previously been an icon of righteous and religious modesty, preaching abstinence to European teens.

Claudia Schiffer: topless paparazzi pics

Paparazzi pictures of topless Claudia Schiffer and her husband Matthew Vaughn (also know as Matthew de Vere Drummond) were taken during their honeymoon in June/2002 at Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados, and first printed by Italian tabloid Novella 2000.

According to the pictures, newlywed Mr. Vaughn doesn't seem to pay to much attention to his nude supermodel wife, being on the cell phone all the time.

Sharon Stone was photographed topless in the mid March/2005 on the beach at the Pacific isle of Bora Bora. It's not like we haven't seen Sharon Stone naked before - she posed for July/1990 issue of Playboy and appeared nude in quite a number of films, including the cult movie Basic Instinct (1992), which made her a major Hollywood star, but it's definitely worth mentioning how great she, who just turned 47, looks. Back in 2001, before she was the major fashion star, the official face of Calvin Klein, the wife of the British viscount and the mother of his son, Natalia Vodianova (Наталья Водянова) have had a modeling gig in Turkey, which produced these pictures from a swimwear catalogue, published in a local newspaper.

Pictures from Abercrombie & Fitch 2003 Christmas quaterly catalogue. A&F has been pushing the envelope, with the nakedness in their campaigns that is, for quite some time now.



Sex sells, so numerous young and attractive, not to mention mostly nude, male and female models in this catalog aren't really selling AF clothing - they are selling the lifestyle.



Of course there are some aren't comfortable with the idea sexiness, nudity and promiscuity in the clothing company catalog, calling to boycott A&F brand. These voices were heard and since the beginning of 2004 A&F took a turn toward less risqué campaigns.

GoCool oops project

GoCool project promises to deliver catwalk video clips from fashiongirls.de.vu via HTTP. Honestly, based on the amount of webspace and bandwidth needed, I have certain doubts, but let's give this undertaking some time and see what will become of it.

Hilton sisters & David Lachapelle

These days people can't seem to get enough of those blonde hotel-fortune scions, the Hilton sisters - Paris and Nicky. While they did absolutely nothing to earn their celebrity besides kick up their Lucite heels while canoodling with similar B-list celebrities at it-bars across the world, their stars were officially launched in a September/2000 Vanity Fair spread. At the time, Paris and Nicky were just 19 and 16 years of age, respectively. But they let it all hang out, literally in Paris's case. In this photo spread, shot by the gay pal David LaChapelle , Paris is pictured wearing a see-through mesh tank-top while flipping the bird in her grandmother's Beverly Hills living room, as well as playing peek-a-boo with her right nipple while laying sprawled on a beach surrounded by surfers, who looked more puzzled than lustful. The Hilton family, allegedly, didn't know anything about these pictures until the issue of VF hit the stands, and was quite dissapointed by the explicitness of the images, which of course was just the beginning - apparently, around the same time Paris and Rick Salomon were filming the infamous hardcore homevideo, which was released all over the Internet in October/2003 and later came out on DVD, and really made Paris Hilton noticed.

In the third picture we see Paris and Nicky at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, this time it's not a see-through attire she's wearing, but this sad fact is well compensated for, if you know what I mean.

Réka Ebergényi: French Elle 03/2004

Hungarian model Réka Ebergényi is on the cover of 29/March/2004 issue of Elle (France) magazine which, unlike Elle (US), is published weekly. Another thing which is very much different between French and American editions of Elle is of course the attitude toward nudity - one can't possibly imagine a topless model on the cover of the US Elle and can hardly imagine anything like that inside the magazine, but half-naked Reka Ebergenyi graces the front matter of French edition with few more pictures inside, seemingly without causing any dissonance.

Yamilla Coba is a Cuban model. Unfortunately very limited info on her is available online and mostly in Spanish. What I was able to figure out was that she's in her early twenties, she was born in Cuba, went to school to study Marine Science, but quit or rather postponed her studies to pursue a modeling career. She plans to retire from modeling after few seasons. Anyway these the pics of Yamilla I came across, which inspired this post in a first place, scanned from CKM magazine (Polish version of FHM), but most probably originally published somewhere else.

Zsuzsi (Zsuzsa) Ripli is a model from Hungary and a Playmate of the Year 2004 of, presumably, Hungarian edition of Playboy. That's about all that is known about her - Google returns zero results in English, and what ever information available in Hungarian is unfortunately pretty much wasted on me.

Kirsten Imrie, now considered to be a classic Page Three girl, started as a fashion model and a nude model in the late 80s and early 90s, appearing in most men's magazines for the next years, representing not only gracefulness and a fulfilled body, but also with a rare touch of class and a bright smile. What we see here is three ethnic Ukranian ladies covered, or rather uncovered, with American flags: adult star, Playboy Playmate, and Penthouse Pet with JD and PhD Victoria Zdrok; her mother Olga Zelenetskaya, former educational researcher; and her older sister Tatiana Zdrok aka Lara Buenfil, also an adult model, allegedly, with PhD.

Few words about this wonderful family.

Victoria:
Victoria Alexandrovna Zdrok (née Zelenetskaya) [wiki], born 03/March/1973 in Kiev, was allegedly the first Soviet teenager allowed to come to the United States as a foreign exchange student in 1989. Victoria graduated from Pensacola Junior College at 17, she graduated from West Chester University with a B.A. degree at the age of 18. Then she entered a joint law and psychology graduate program hosted by Villanova University and Hahnemann Medical School and has received her J.D. degree in law (and passed the bar in New York and New Jersey) and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2003 (from Drexel University, which acquired Hahnemann). In 2004 she published her first book The Anatomy of Pleasure: The Head to Toe Guide to Better Sex.

In 1990, at the tender age of 17, she married Alexander Zdrok, 39-year-old ex-Golden Glove boxer, twice married and divorced, who then worked as the attorney for mob boss John Stanfa and was disbarred by the state Supreme Court in 1991 for forgery and deception. Their marriage ended in 1996 and they've been battling in court over the property settlement ever since.

Victoria was discovered by Playboy magazine, who made her its Miss October/1994, that centerfold appearance launched her on parallel career as a model, which somehow slided towards more hard-core side, leading to appearances in Penthouse as Pet of the Month June/2002 and Pet of the Year 2004. Quote: "Penthouse! Because if I was a guy I couldn't masturbate to Playboy, it's just too soft for me!"

Tatiana Alexandrovna Zelenetskaya [wiki], was born on July/20/1972 in Kiev. For some inconceivable to me reason she goes by the last name Zdrok, that of her sister Victoria's ex-husband. I don't think she actually changed her last name legally though, probably it's just that Zdrok is much easier for anglophone pronunciation than Zelenetskaya. Anyway, according to her autobiography she couldn't get into the university to study archaeology "because her parents were not members of the Communist Party" (quite a phoney excuse, especially in circa 1990, take my word for that), so she went to a different school and graduated with a dergee in education, just like her mommy.

Soon after she moved to the US to join her sister and mother and "began learning the American ways" (taking her clothes off, I guess, and getting a boob job down the road). Tatiana presently maintaines adult-oriented website UninhibitedIsland.com under the assumed name of Lara Buenfil - yet another mistery of her name - no clue where this one came from. In a mean time she's either got or is still pursuing her PhD in Archaeology from "one of the best", but nameless University.
